ALCOHOL

WARNING

Australian Capital Territory: A person must not sell or supply liquor to a person under 18 years old on premises where the sale or supply of liquor is authorised or in a public place. Maximum Penalty $5,500 - Liquor Act 2010.

New South Wales: It is against the law to sell or supply liquor to, or to obtain on behalf of, a person under the age of 18 years - Liquor Act 2007.

Northern Territory: Under the Liquor Act 2019 it is against the law to sell or supply alcohol to, or to obtain alcohol on behalf of, a person under the age of 18 years.

Queensland: Under the Liquor Act 1992 it is an offence to supply liquor to a person under the age of 18 years.

South Australia: Liquor must NOT be supplied to persons under 18 - Liquor Licencing Act 1997.

Tasmania: Under the Liquor Licencing Act 1990 it is an offence for liquor to be delivered to a person under the age of 18 years (penalty fine not exceeding 20 penalty units), and for a person under the age of 18 years to purchase liquor (penalty fine not exceeding 10 penalty units).

Victoria: Under the Liquor Control Reform Act 1998 it is an offence to supply alcohol to a person under the age of 18 years (penalty exceeds $19,000), for a person under the age of 18 years to purchase or receive liquor (penalty exceeds $800).

Western Australia: Under the Liquor Control Act 1988 it is an offence to sell or supply liquor to a person under the age of 18 years on licenced or regulated premises; and for a person under the age of 18 years to purchase, or attempt to purchase, liquor on licensed or regulated premises.

  1. Sesion is a responsible retailer of liquor and we take our legal responsibilities seriously. 
  2. It is illegal for us to sell or supply liquor to a person under the age of 18 in Australia, and under 21 years old within the United States of America. It is also illegal for you to buy liquor if you are, under the age of 18, even if you are buying as a gift for someone else, or if you are over the age of 18 and intend to supply liquor to a minor. 
  3. It is illegal for you to falsify your details if you are under the age of 18 in order to buy liquor from us.
  4. By agreeing to the terms of use for our website and submitting an order with us you are confirming to us that you are over the age of 18 and are legally allowed to buy liquor in Australia. 
  5. Orders received through this website are supplied in accordance with the relevant provisions under the liquor licencing laws for each state and territory in Australia.

DELIVERY OF GOODS, FREIGHT AND INSURANCE

  1. Risk in Goods sold by Sesion to the Buyer passes from the Seller to the Buyer upon despatch from the warehouse of the Seller (Sesion). 
  2. The Seller (Sesion) will, if requested by the Buyer, at the cost and risk of the Buyer, arrange for the delivery of Goods to the Buyer at the address nominated by the Buyer.
  3. The Seller (Sesion) has no obligation to arrange for insurance of Goods against the risks of carriage.
  4. Should Insurance be selected and agreed to by the Seller, and the Seller (Sesion), agrees to arrange freight and insurance (or both), in respect of any Goods sold or supplied by Sesion to the Buyer, the Buyer must pay and reimburse the Seller (Sesion) for all associated costs.
  5. The Seller (Sesion) shall not be liable for any loss or damage due to any failure by the Seller to deliver any Goods promptly, or at all.
  6. Delivery dates or times indicated by the Seller to the Buyer are approximate only and do not constitute a guarantee of delivery or delivery by such date or time. No time of the essence transaction will be considered by the Seller unless agreed in writing.
  7. Subject to these Terms of Use, no Goods shall be placed on Back Order.
  8. Goods may be placed on Back Order if agreed in writing. Those Goods shall be supplied by the Seller as soon as reasonably practicable upon the Seller receiving those Goods.
  9. The Seller may, in its sole discretion, delay delivery of any Goods until the Seller has received payment from the Buyer of all money due by the Buyer to the Seller in respect of those Goods and any other Goods previously sold by the Seller to the Buyer.

CLAIMS, RETURNS OR CANCELLATION OF ORDERS

  1. The Buyer has no right to cancel, or vary, any order for Goods after the Seller has accepted that order.
  2. Change of mind will not be accepted as a valid reason for the return of goods sold.
  3. If for any reason the Seller permits the Buyer to cancel an order for Goods, this will be at the discretion of the Seller, and is dependent upon the reason. The determination of a faulty good will be assessed by the Seller, and if deemed valid will constitute a replacement item issued to the same value.
  4. If Sesion accepts a return of Goods from the Buyer, any amount payable by Sesion to the Buyer as a result of that return of Goods is not payable in cash by Sesion to the Buyer, but may only be applied in reduction of the price payable by the Buyer to Sesion for future Goods sold by Sesion to the Buyer.

RISK

Risk in all Goods sold or supplied by the Seller (Sesion) to the Buyer passes to the Buyer upon the first to occur of:

  1. delivery of those Goods by the Seller (Sesion) to the Buyer; or
  2. despatch by the Seller (Sesion) of those Goods from the warehouse of Sesion to the Buyer.
